What Gumloop actually is

  • docs.gumloop.com/llms.txt counts 424 documentation pages, 300 of them under /nodes/ (21 July 2026)
  • By that index the nodes break down into 121 MCP connectors, 114 integrations, 15 AI nodes, 8 flow basics, 7 file operations, 7 list operations, 5 text manipulation, 4 data enrichment, 4 notification, 3 advanced, 3 web scraping, 2 audio, 2 browser extension, 2 json and 2 pdf
  • The 15 AI nodes: ask_ai, ai_filter, ai_list_sorter, ai_web_research, ai_content_detector, analyze_image, analyze_video, categorizer, define_ai_function, extract_data, generate_image, generate_report, openai_assistant, scorer, choosing_ai_node
  • Agents are a first-class product: skills, memory through Brain sources, triggers, sessions, evaluations with grades and tags, artifacts, and a CLI called Gumloop for Terminal
  • From the docs: 'Unlike workflows that follow a fixed path, an agent decides which tools to use and when, adapting its approach to the task in front of it.'
  • The agent docs list over 150 connectors available to agents
  • The credit model: 'Every workflow costs 1 credit to execute, plus the cost of each node that runs.'
  • Zero-credit nodes: text manipulation, logic (If/Else, Switch, Router), loops, data transformation, and most integrations including Google Sheets, Slack, Gmail, Airtable and Salesforce
  • Paid nodes: Enrich Contact/Company 60 credits, Search Companies 30, Email Validator 10, Web Agent Scraper 10, Website Crawler 10, Advanced Web Search 5, Advanced Website Scraper 2, Web Search 2, Website Scraper 1, custom code node 3
  • AI nodes and agents bill on token usage, and bringing your own API key halves the credit cost

Limits and catches

  • No self-hosting, no on-prem, no public source code. The only hosting option on the pricing page is MCP Server Hosting, which is Gumloop's own managed service
  • Loops multiply the cost. From the docs: 'nodes in loop mode run once per item. Multiply the node cost by the number of items (e.g. a 60 credit Enrich Contact node over 10 contacts = 600 credits).'
  • The free tier allows 1 active trigger, so in practice 1 running automation
  • Gumloop publishes no dollar-per-credit table on the pricing page
  • Review summaries report that failed or stalled runs still cost the credits of the nodes that already ran
  • Every build sits behind account signup

What does Gumloop cost?

5,000 credits per month, permanently, on 1 seat. No credit card, but you do need an account (Google or email) before you can build anything.
