Disclosure: how this site makes money and content
Last updated: July 8, 2026
Trust is the only real asset a site like this has, so here's exactly how our content gets made and what we do (and don't do) to pay for it.
AI-assisted, human-approved
Every article on this site is drafted with AI and reviewed by a human before it goes live — nothing is published unread. The experiments behind the articles are real: we run them ourselves, we track the hours and the costs, and the numbers you read are the numbers we measured. Our writers are pen names with distinct beats; the work behind them is real. More on this on the about page.
Our testing policy
Tool verdicts on this site come from actually using the tool, not from reading its landing page. If a tool failed our test, the article says so. If something took four hours instead of the promised twenty minutes, that number stays in. Prices and features are verified at the time of writing; tools change fast, so when we refresh an article you'll see an updated date on it.
Affiliate links
This site currently contains no affiliate links. If we add them in the future, three rules apply: affiliate links will be clearly marked, they will only ever point to tools we actually tested, and they will never change a verdict — a tool that failed our test stays failed, commission or not.
Sponsored content
We don't publish sponsored posts, and no tool vendor has paid for placement, ranking, or review outcomes on this site. If that ever changes, sponsored content will be labeled as such at the top of the article — not buried in a footer.
