Privacy policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
The short version: we collect anonymous usage statistics to see which articles are worth your time, and your email address only if you subscribe to the newsletter. We don't sell data, run ad networks, or build profiles of you.
Who we are
inaday.ai is run by Marco, a developer and project lead based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. For anything related to your data, email hello@inaday.ai.
What we collect and why
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure page views, scroll depth, and basic technical data such as browser type, device, and approximate location. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors. We use this data in aggregate — which articles get read, how far people scroll — never to identify individual visitors.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address with Resend, our email service. We use it for the newsletter and nothing else. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
Email. If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to help you.
Hosting. The site runs on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (IP addresses, requests) for security and operations.
Third-party services
These are the services that process data on our behalf, each under their own privacy policy:
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Email hello@inaday.ai and we'll handle it — no forms, no waiting periods. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you think we're handling your data badly.
Retention
Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for the limited period configured in Google Analytics, then deleted automatically. Server logs are kept by Vercel for a short operational window.
Changes
If we change what we collect — for example, if we add new tools to the site — we'll update this page and the date at the top.
