What Claid.ai actually is
- Everything runs on one credit pool you spend on whatever you want, instead of per-feature limits
- Published credit costs per operation: background removal 1, AI Shadows 2, Outpaint 2, upscale 2 to 8, AI Photoshoot 4 at Standard quality and 10 at Studio quality, AI Fashion 4, AI Edit 4, and AI Video 35 for 5 seconds
- Claid works out the arithmetic itself: 2,000 credits on Pro is '500 AI Photoshoots at Standard Quality, 200 AI Photoshoots at Studio Quality, 2,000 background removals, or any combination'
- Every paid plan gets the same toolset and 2K resolution. Only 4K, batch processing, priority queue and brand kits are held back for Pro and Business
- Every plan, trial included, ships 50 API credits so you can test the API without buying a web plan
- No rights grab on output: 'images generated using Claid are not subject to copyright' according to their own FAQ

Limits and catches
- The free trial is 50 credits once, not per month, and its history is wiped after 24 hours
- AI Video is the credit sink: at 35 credits for 5 seconds, the whole trial buys one clip and a month of Essentials buys 14
- 4K resolution starts at Pro ($35 per month). Essentials tops out at 2K
- Download resolution on Essentials (up to 64 MP) is lower than on the free trial (up to 128 MP), so the first paid step is a downgrade on that one axis
- Upload limits differ per tier: 10 MB and 48 MP on the trial, 10 MB and 24 MP on Essentials, 20 MB and 48 MP on Pro
- History retention is tiered too: 24 hours on the trial, 1 month on Essentials, 3 months on Pro
- The pricing page carries its own disclaimer, 'Prices might be subject to change'
What does Claid.ai cost?
A one-off free trial of 50 credits, not a recurring free plan. Those 50 credits buy 12 AI Photoshoot generations, or 50 background removals, or a single 5 second AI video. Your generation history is kept for 24 hours on the trial against 1 month on Essentials, so anything you do not download that day is gone.
